We are aware of a few bugs with the new chat and are working on them as we speak. Thanks for your patience. Rest assured we are committed to making it work as intended.

Oh, and as a friendly reminder. When writing to us with your tech support questions, please please please try to give us a little more to work with than just a “it doesn’t work.” The more specific you can be, the quicker we can help you resolve your particular issue.

There are 3 main issues that we am seeing:

1) Invitations: the invitation comes up on the page, but if you change the page you are on then there is no way to see who invited you so you miss some chat requests. We are going to store the invitations so you can see a list of your past invites, or at least see it until you decline it. This change should be live tomorrow.

2) Speed: Sometimes there are speed issues. This has to do with the chat server so we need help from the data center admins for this. I am preparing some videos and a description as to the problems to submit. When restarting the chat server things were really fast. This issue may be fixed Tuesday once the techs have a chance to take a close look. I will be sending them a help ticket tomrrow.

3) Online status: There seems to be a disconnect between who is showing up as online and who is actually online. We are going to revert back to the old online algorithms how they were before first thing tomorrow morning until we can figure out the exact cause of the disconnect.
