In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month we have created a photo contest that is open to all members of the site as well as the public. For each winning photo, MFI will contribute a donation to the charities below in the winner’s name. We know many of us have been touched by this disease so lets remind everyone what month it is and encourage women to get a mammogram.
Directions:
• PLEASE READ THE RULES BELOW BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR PHOTO
• Take a photo that includes a human face (it does not have to be your face) and somehow incorporates the color pink (clothing, props, etc.)
• DO NOT add logos or use photos you don’t own the rights to. One original image only!
• Email your photo to support@myfreeimplants.com by 11:59 PM (PST) Oct 31st, 2011
• Share a story or describe your photo entry if it applies
Prizes: On or before November 10th, 2011 MyFreeImplants.com (MFI) management will choose the winners and announce them in the News Section. Monetary donations will then be made by MFI in the winners name to the below charities, which are all 4 star rated by Charity Navigator.
Grand Prize: $500 in Your Name to Susan G. Komen for the Cure
Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Since 1982, Komen has invested more than $2 billion, becoming the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.
2nd Prize: $300 in Your Name to The National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund
The National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund (NBCCF) supports the educational efforts of the National Breast Cancer Coalition. It empowers and trains advocates to be effective in every aspect of the fight to end breast cancer. NBCCF gives women the tools to make their own informed decisions and take a leadership role with legislative, scientific and clinical decision makers.
3rd Prize: $200 to in Your Name to Young Survival Coalition
Founded in 1998 by three young breast cancer survivors, the Young Survival Coalition (YSC) is the premier international organization dedicated to the critical issues unique to young women and breast cancer. YSC works with survivors, caregivers and the medical, research, advocacy and legislative communities to increase the quality and quantity of life for women.

• Stolen photos will be banned. The entrant must create an original photo. DO NOT use images found on the web or anything you do not own the rights to.
• One image only. No logos/ribbons, collages or photoshop, etc. to add non-original pieces to your image. • • Touch up/airbrushing with software is permissible.
• All photographers entering the Pink Photo Contest, grant the rights to display their photo on this website. MFI is not responsible for stolen images.
• All entrant photos may be considered for use in marketing.
• All images are copyright protected by the individual photographers.
• DO NOT use this photo contest as a means to promote a business or commercial interest.
