October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and since our founding, we’ve donated thousands of dollars to breast cancer research through a variety of charitable organizations. For the 25th anniversary of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM) we’ve teamed up with Susan G. Komen for the cure, the largest breast cancer charity in the world. We chose Komen for their historical track record and because they are one of the most efficient non-profits in the world, with 85% of donations going directly to programs.
There are two ways for you to help:
1) Donate to women on MyFreeImplants! Our company will be gifting 10% of October earnings directly to Susan G. Komen. Help women here get boobies and help others save them! It’s a win-win.
2) Click on the pink banners on the site and make a donation directly to our team page on the Komen website. This is a great solution for those who are not donors on MFI.
Breast cancer has affected millions of women and men, their families, friends, jobs, and communities. It has struck approximately 1.3 million women worldwide. No gift is too small and together we can make a difference.

Leave A CommentI applaud that you have pledged 10% of your earning for the month of October to the Komen organization but I believe your direct donation goal is not lofty enough.
Please let us know how much was donated by MFI as a result of this endeavor.
Thank you for supporting the cause, any donation is greatly accepted by charities and this one is close to my heart!
Thank you
i think its great they are doing it at all, and i have no need to know how much they end up giving
Thank you MFI for donating to a cause close to my heart! i have 4 members of my family that are breast cancer survivors! My mom, my aunt, her daughter and myself! What a great way to show that you care!

@Walter – Firstly, thank you for starting us off with a donation. We thought $2000 was a good place to start for direct donations. People give a lot on the site as it is, but we should definitely be able to hit our direct goal.
At the end of October we will update you on how much MFI gifts as a result of website operations.
Thank you MFI for supporting and donating to a very special cause…
You guys are amazing.

Awesome.
With it being the middle of October, how close are we to reaching our goal of 2,000 for direct donations?
Just curious…I have been donating 10% of my goal as I have progressed here to Susan G. Komen and posting reciepts in my blogs..Maybe some other women could do this too! That would be awesome. For the rest of October, I will make my donations through the team pages, as opposed to the individual I have been doing.
Thats so cool fo you guys(and gal! ) to do this!!!
xoxoxo
