Just a quick status update about the unscheduled site outage… Last night at about 3am we had a hardware failure which resulting in some intermittent site availability. As soon as the problem was diagnosed the hardware was swapped out and the site brought back online for a couple hours, only to have an operating system failure. We’ve since completed a chassis swap of the server and an OS reload is underway now, and should complete within the hour. Once complete, we will begin provisioning the server for use as quickly as possible, and then copy the backup files over the new OS to bring everything back online. Sorry for the unexpected outage. The technology gods we’re frowning upon us today. 
But we’ll bounce back.
We will keep you updated with our progress via this news post as there are more developments. Thanks for your patience!

Leave A CommentIt seems like it was a couple of days… OH NO… please dont do that to us again! I was still a newbie at the time.. so I was not the ADDICT that I am now…lol. This one could seriously cause me to lose what little mind I have left at this point… its hard enough to log out at night.

Well, if we go by Jason’s prediction, we only have like 5 minutes before the hour is up. However, I’ll play it safe and say we still have to wait out the or so he mentioned too. LOL

I just hope when the site is back up, that there are alot of ppl online. Or all this waiting would be for nothing LOL. So, by show of hands. Who’s gonna wait this thing out and be online when they get everything working properly LOL.
Im sitting on pins and needles….the anticipation is driving me crazy!!! lol

So some good news… all of the data is intact. So there is no data loss. Three cheers for backups! We still have a little bit more work ahead of us to secure the database before we open it back up for general use. We have to make sure all of your private data is securely protected!
Give us another 45 minutes or so and we should be back up and running.

OMG fell asleep last night hitting refresh waiting for the site to come back think thats the first night since i joined i havent had my fix its now 5.15am here in the uk and i still cant but great to know its not just me feeling like a junkie needing a fix hope its back on when i get home xx
I too do not know how addicted I was until this happened. Been checking every 30 minutes.
It’s kind of like the Seinfeld episode on who could hold out the longest without being the captain of their domain, lol. I failed like Kramer and i am sure others have too.

I was really hoping it would be back up by now. I’m yet another addict…I’ve been checking back all day. Well, I suppose my mom lucked out on picking today to move. She had my help all day without any MFI breaks! Haha. Fingers crossed its back up before I pass out from utter exhaustion.

Oh man, this isn’t good. I’m gettin close to going 24 hours WITHOUT MFI. That is unacceptable. LOL I wonder if things are going well for them or what. I hope i’m not waiting til it’s time to go to work in the a.m. before MFI is back up.
I am sure they are doing whatever they can to get the site back up and running… lifes full of dissappointments… what more can anyone say lol. The J’s will pull through

I agree with you Blake. Last time this happen I had a member send me a message and 4 hours later after I was able to get in to read the message it was gone and found out she deleted her account. So I’ll never know what happen to her. But otherwise lots of other wonderful ladies here. I just need to get on.
To pass the time Iv ate half a box of oreos, made a vlog.. watched the real world, and LA INK refreshing, replying… refreshing… … dieing to blog, I feel like my creativity is being put on hold aha. I have come to the conclusion that I will survive lol
Yeah, i’m watchin tv, and kickin around the net, downloading music, and refreshing like a sum bitch lol. I’m thinking that the saying a watched pot never boils, also applies to websites that are down. LOL
