There’s been a TON of work going on behind the scenes here on the new and improved MFI website, and we just wanted to post a quick update to keep ya’ll informed of the progress thus far. Obviously the new logo was completed a while ago. We also spent some time soliciting feedback from several of you on the wireframes of the new website layout. With some of your ideas incorporated, and the wireframes locked we then had 19 different website pages fully designed. And just this last week we signed off on all of those final designs! Over the course of the next couple of weeks we’ll begin slicing up those designs and converting them into website framework code.
And while all of that’s been going on… we’ve been hiding out in a dark underground lair, feverishly coding all of the “business logic” code that will connect the newly designed front-end facade to the back-end engine. Then within the coming weeks we will finally start seeing all of these pieces coming together as one cohesive, functional website!!
And on top of ALL THAT, this past weekend we brought a few MFI Hall Of Famers out to California to partake in a photoshoot for the new website. As many of you may know, MFI started out with just one success story; Natasha. Fast-forward 5 years later and there have been many many more success stories, and many more people in general, involved in the success of MFI. So we thought it would only be right to showcase real members of the community in the next incarnation of the website! This first shoot included 3 post-op ladies, 2 pre-op, and even a benefactor! We shot over 6,000 photos over 7 hours with a pro-photographer, hair, make-up, the whole shebang. It was a rollercoaster of frustration at times trying to coordinate all the moving parts (only to have it topped off with a flat tire the day of the shoot) but in the end we got some great shots for the new site. We hope to not only use these shots on the new website, but also as templates so that others who want to be featured can also submit their own similarly styled photos to us to be used on the home page and elsewhere throughout the site. So even if you are in New Zealand, or Norway, you can still be just as big a part of MFI as those closer to us. Here are a few behind-the-scenes photos from this weekends shoot…

I agree sex sells but ‘friendship’ is usually thrown around loosely here. I don’t mean to offend Natasha but one cute girl is not as complete a picture as a bunch of yes young and beautiful girls hanging on a guy. I think this really paints the wrong image of the site but as it has turned more towards a Sugar Daddy, ametuer porn site I guess it’s right on the money. Way to go Guys!

Jason I know about that page and that is not what I was talking about. What I was asking for is why isn’t there a page of before and after photos of the ladies who had their surgery which you say the photos are required and part of our contract once we make HOF.
I don’t want to see the old one’s I have been looking at for the past 2 1/2 yrs of the I think 5 ladies you have on there. There are over 600 ladies who have made their goal of all races, size, ages and whatnot and I wonder why we cannot see a page of all the success’s or at least keep the before and after PHOTOS on ONE PAGE updated. This will also prove to everyone who joins or would like to join that ANYONE can make it here. Not just young girls who are in bra and panties.
The ladies are all wonderful and beautiful,so I’m not saying they are not.I don’t need anyone to put words into my mouth or get sarcastic because I have an opinion or idea’s like everyone else,But is that the site has come down to?
How about a nice pair of dress jeans,sexy heels and a nice corset or a pair of sexy slacks and a strapless top?
It is all about the breast isn’t it? I can see the direction you are going in and know sex sells but isn’t there more to the site than that?
What about the comment that Big Daddy said… Some and alot do come for friendship and do help without all the extra’s.
I just think we All should get a fair show.

I think the J’s understand that most members who comment on the news are unhappy with what they have seen of the pictures so far. They announced in the initial message that opportunities would be created for other models to provide pictures. They explained that they are working on a bigger and better hall of fame gallery.
Like everything else, time is required.
I’ve been waiting for these changes for many months and I’m so happy they are finally starting to be implemented. But I’m not surprised that some of the older woman have taken offense at not being included in the photo shoot. And the younger girls have taken offense at being called less mature. LMAO! Don’t all teenagers know everything? They don’t even know what they don’t know! In this case, they are confusing maturity, experience and intelligence.
Now about the benefactor chosen…. I wasn’t asked! Aren’t I young enough (30)? Don’t I live close enough (Texas)? Even if I’d pay my own way? (I could have ridden my horse there!) Or didn’t I donate enough? Aren’t I good looking enough? They got 5 girls and only 1 bene? Isn’t that unfair to the benes? What’s the deal? Both my little feelings are hurt! I think all of us benes’ should start complaining, too! Lighten up, folks. Now, where’s my hat? I’ll ask Becky; she knows everything!

I would like to see the site pull away from the sexiness. Perhaps a better rendition of a bene would be a dude holding some pics in his hand. Maybe tone down the dress a bit. I don’t know what market we’re trying to hit here but I for one am a young guy who prefers friendships over the ‘sex sells’ aspect that cannot be portrayed in a pic with tightly clothed ladies draped over a man. Of course my opinion may not be one that is even marketable but a woman may feel discouraged by the gorgeous ladies representing the site and men may get the impression there is more to it than there really is. Many of the issues that hold back the potential of the site are sexual in nature and as a Myspace with a twist it comes off more as a sex site which will obviously appeal to those seeking sex but not those hoping to make a dream come true through simply making friends and being themselves.
@LatinVixen: Please re-read what I wrote:

@BigDaddy & Others: Let’s not lose site of the fact that this site IS about breast implants. Photos of women in turtle necks and sweatshirts isn’t going to help convey that message to potential new members. It would be like walking into car dealership and all the cars had car covers over them. If you find breasts sexy, then the website will appear sexy to you. If you find breasts friendly, then the website will also appear friendly!
MFI is a hybrid between a MySpace type site and a plastic surgeons website. Community + Breast Implants. Go to most plastic surgeons website and you’ll see photos/imagery that are suggestive of a sexy womans body. Helping women obtain that dream body IS exactly what we do here.

My before pics are horrid..I wanted them to look “not so good” because I plan on doing myself up nicely for the after pics…You ever notice anywhere you see before and after pics, the before pics are sometimes in black and white, or the person has zits or their hair is a mess, etc??? Then the after pics show someone completely better looking, more put together??? Well that is the effect I am going for with my pics..To show that I was/am this lonely ole home maker with fried eggs, then I joined the best web site on this planet and BLAMMO look at me now…!! You get my point, right??? See,if it can work for a woman such as me, then it can work for anyone…Luv yah all…Milf..

My two cents:
1) I am glad to hear that the new site is getting much closer to a beta phase. Hoping for a non-Flash based chat system in there, for those of us who login using iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch, as well as a better sense of flow.
2) I am a little disheartened to see the choice of ambassadors for the site is leaning again toward women/girls who’ve made HOF, and either disappeared, shunned their benefactors (or as they called them during their run to HOF, “friends”). What sort of a message does this send the benefactors, when MFI presents these models with all-expense paid trips, when those who paid for their augmentations are lucky if they get post-op pics, let alone a response to a message? I mean, when a model makes HOF, pads her wish list with a lot of non-surgery related items, is non-existant for months, except to put a few post-op pics because of her contract.

I,not once never said the girls chosen do not look fantastic,But do they represent everyone that is on the site or they giving false hopes to people who think that is what they will get once they join the site?
No one said the models have to be in turtlenecks to look sexy,But feel if it’s a BOOB site as Jason would say then have them in a nice skirt,shorts and some sexy slacks with strapless shirts or corsets to show the TRUE meaning of the site.
I can see a few getting all upset over a opinion,But it’s just that an opinion and I have been here and STAYED for almost 3 yrs now. Just seems like when someone like myself likes to know answer to these questions someone gets all upset about it and get nasty. There is no reason for since since we are supposed to all be adults right?

No lady on the site will alone represent everyone here. Mature, young, blond, brunette, red head, slim, athletic, underweight or overweight, blue eyes or brown eyes, Asian, Latina, Caucasian, etc etc.
I think they represent the site very well. I agree with, Jim , that they represent what HoF and Run is about. The site is a lot about sex and selling sex, and honestly they are sexy so they are representing the site very well in that too. Most default pics are in lingerie or half naked, so again they represent MFI very well.
I have been here for 5 years soon, and remember times back when they site was more explicit and more sexual tan it is today. It is still sexual and about “selling sex” as it was back then, also “selling friendship” as it is now and as it was back then. Not much has changed in that department, maybe some with the web cam feature, but honestly that was just a question about time in my opinion.

I have been a little under the radar (photo-wise) since I started, so I imagine it has been a little weird not having a face behind the employee. It has been a pleasure working with all of you, and I look forward to getting to know more of you in the future!
Thank you everyone for taking the time to comment and voice your opinions, your feedback is very important in helping to shape the community and future of MFI. Also, thanks for your patience with the launching of the new site. There are some awesome improvements in the works, and all of your waiting will not be in vain
The photoshoot went really well, and I’d like to thank the girls involved for coming out and doing such a great job. Of course we would have loved to have all HOF girls come out for the shoot, but certain factors (availability, location, funding, etc.)unfortunately did not allow the opportunity for everyone.
And not to belabor the point, but I’d like to remind everyone that it is important to remember (which Jason mentioned) that this first step will create a template to work with so that anyone can submit similarly styled photos to be featured on the site’s pages! The opportunities will arise, but as Drone says: Like everything else, time is required
So to end my rambling, I’d like to say thank you guys and gals once again for your patience, your feedback, opinions, and most importantly being such an integral part of this community. You all make my job very interesting and enjoyable.
