To be a bit constructively critical here, when I joined this site about two years ago, the "cut" was 10%, then 15%, and now...19%! W.T.F.? I know there have been other positive changes (such as state-of-the-industry video chat, and "free" message credits based on each year of membership) but this is getting a little "maydoffish" no? The growing pool of investors attracted by Maydoff's high returns were metaphorically speaking, similar to the women attracted to this site by the prospect of augmentations. The initial investor's principle might be symbolized by both older benefactor donations, and the current liquid flow of benefactor's incoming boob bank money.

By my calculations, we now have the emergence of a trend in the metrics, and even at this year's lower 2.65% growth rate in the cut, we are looking at 76 cents on the dollar to girls by 2011, 70 cents on the dollar by 2012, 62 cents on the dollar by 2013! And 2013 is less than three years away!!

I'm really not trying to sound like an accusatory skeptic here, but where do the increases in "the cut" end? The costs of any health care inflation are reflected in higher dollar amounts girls need to set to reach their goals. Might I add the membership fees are likely higher for most members now. I must admit, I am still scratching my head and pondering all of this, and how sustainable the economic model is here at this site. However, ostensibly, these price increases, if you will, make me wonder.

Of course, if the boob bank functioned in "delivered dollars" (ie, dollars after fees) then donations could be put back in at their original rate.

So a $10.00 donation made at the 10% rate would put $9 into the bank; $10 at the 15% rate would put 8.50 in and current donations of $10 would credit the account 8.10

The same could more or less be accomplished the other way.

Donations that were made at the original amount of $10 with a rate of 10% would net a model $9. That would translate to $9/.81 or 11.11 to maintain the value to the model.

Nope, I didn't interpret them as argumentative at all. More like inquisitive. :) Feedback is always appreciated!

I hear you on the 'consistent' front, Jason, and I hope none of my words have sounded argumentative -- I think this system is a really cool improvement.

I am coming at this from the perspective of: a) a non-impulse buyer (I've only ever pre-purchased donations, and thus have never made a 'regular' donation) and 2) someone who would prefer to see the computer side of things handle the 'calculus' of this.

I don't expect you to change things on my account, obviously. But I throw them out in case they make any sense for some future iteration of the system....

Carry on.

Penny, on the flip side, the women know the rules when they sign on, and many of them flaunt the many "activity" loopholes to their advantage. You are correct, that no other site allows the funds to revert back to a donor when the model does not follow the guidelines (in this case, the activity terms). But when a bene donates here, they know the money is going to fund implants. If you make a generalized assumption that all benes are here for pictures and videos to make your point, then I can generalize that every model on those other sites is lying when they give a sob story for why they need money, when it is going to feed their drug habits. Quite a stretch on both generalizations, wouldn't you say?

To keep things as simple as possible and familiar as possible it works consistently with the way "regular" donations work. A $100 regular donation equals $81 in the ladies account. A $100 transfer ALSO equals $81 in the ladies account. So, the minimum transfer is actually $1.24 which equals $1.00 in the ladies account.

From above: "We have set a $1 minimum transfer however to try and be fair to the ladies. And for those of you that want to be able to send $1.00 along with any free message you send, you now have that option too via this much more flexible transfer mechanism."

...but yeah, is that a dollar on my side, or on the receiver's side? See? This is what I was talking about...
