New HOF Activity Requirements (Advance Notice)
by Jeanette: MyFreeImplants on March 4th, 2010This News article serves as an advance notice that we are planning a policy update regarding activity requirements of members in Hall Of Fame (a.k.a. HOF). As of April 2nd, we will be enforcing the same 30-day activity requirements for both HOF and non-HOF members up until the point that model agreement documents are received by MFI. What this now means is that if a member in HOF fails to uphold an active role on the site, her account will enter a suspended state, at which point she will come out of HOF and her donations will become available for transfer.
Once the policy is implemented, it will be a lot harder to go for an extended period of time without either having the surgery, or at least staying active on the site. If a surgery must be delayed for whatever reason, we feel that it is only fair to require that those in HOF at least keep their friends informed as to the reason(s) why.
We hope that with this change it will be less likely that we see a once friendly face disappear upon reaching her goal, as she is still a very important part of the MFI community.

Thanks for letting us know before the implementation. Is this being enforced retroactively (to women reaching the HOF before April 2nd) or to only those reaching the HOF on or after April 2nd?
March 4th, 2010 at 8:56 pm
It will be retroactive, but we’re also sending out advanced email notices today to those individuals that may be affected by this at the time that it does go into place so that they have ample time to take the necessary actions to protect their earnings.

But with the stealth mode, models can go past the 30 days required so what will happen then?
March 4th, 2010 at 10:57 pm
If a ladies profile is in Stealth Mode, it’s possible for her account to show as inactive for more than 30 days even though in reality she has been active; it’s just not reflected in her status. We do track actual activity behind the scenes to ensure that there is actual legitimate activity. Those that are not, are automatically suspended and donations returned for transfer.

I love this idea and I think it should have been thought of a long time ago.. When I reached HOF I still came back to talk with my friends and guys I didn’t owe anything to and they became some of my best friends… We shouldn’t use these guys for what we want and then just forget how loving they were to us.. I’m back a second time and I’m here to 1 make friends and 2 reach my goal but not at the expense of hurting the guys who help.. Jason I love this idea and I think it should be for past HOF also… Guys it looks like you guys are winning and I love it (:
Kisses

What defines “remaining active,” just so the ladies can be sure we are meeting the requirements? Thank you!
March 5th, 2010 at 1:14 am
I think this is a positive change as it eliminates one of the loopholes in the rules and payment process.
Will there ever be a time when rules enforcement of some kind will apply to models who have received an agreement to pay document but have not had surgery and are apparently inactive on the site?
March 5th, 2010 at 7:49 am
Just because women will be required to send a message every couple of weeks does NOT mean they will be active participants here on MFI. I believe this rule is a ‘solution’ for some benefactors who believe that requiring a woman to remain active as defined by MFI will make them remain active with those benefactors. I also believe that those benefactors who expect HOF women to remain active with them will ultimately be disappointed.
March 5th, 2010 at 10:59 am
its a step in the right direction! i realize that it will not solve the problems but remember the ladies are supposed to “earn” there breasts augmentations! they can at least write a blog or send out a message every once in a while. well looks like ill be getting some messages and donations back i have a feeling. lol

Nothing is ever perfect, but I don’t think that should stop us from trying.
Yes, women will most likely pay attention only to the letter of the law. That’s fine and it is an improvement over the current case where a small number of women reach their goal and then disappear having never had their surgery. No matter what some people think, that does not do the site or the remaining women any good. Suppose I had donated only to that woman and now she doesn’t get surgery – isn’t it easy to believe I would be discouraged from making my next donation?
Here’s a thought I just had that will tie some short in knots. When a woman makes hof and disappears, her top 5 benefactors get to decide if she’s suspended for inactivity or not when the 30 days come. That way if she’s got a good reason she’ll likely be spared. If she doesn’t, well…

Drone that actually sounds pretty good! like a jury of her peers almost! i think that yes it should go to a vote of her top 5 or 10 benefactors! thats sounds good! have u put it up in the feedback forums yet? let me know so i can vote on it!

If a girl never got the surgery after reaching HOF where did all that money go before ?
March 5th, 2010 at 2:47 pm
@Penny – Until the change made earlier this year, the women had up to two years in which to return their paperwork and have their surgeries paid for. That time was reduced to 14 month at the beginning of the year (if I remember correctly). At that point, the funds were returned to the benefactors.

I’m a bit confused… I was planning on being very active even after HOF but I didn’t think i could earn any more… I also wanted to ask if yer wish list was still active? It might be nice to keep that up to encourage HOF gals to stay on the site?
March 5th, 2010 at 8:33 pm
what are u confused about??
its soo simple, you continue on as u were trying to reach your goal, like nothing has changed until the day you send your papers (documents) into MFI, instead of disappearing and not logging on
March 5th, 2010 at 8:34 pm
personally i would have rather see that girls are active til payment has been issued and or til post-op photos are received by MFI
March 5th, 2010 at 11:45 pm
I think expecting someone to be active after papers have been received by MFI or until post op surgery pics is very unrealistic, many ladies will have spent hours and days reaching the goal and then posting pre-op pics as well, don’t they deserve a bit of a break, take you expect them to be active in the 6 months after surgery as well!
March 6th, 2010 at 4:37 am
I dont think what cyberdrive has said is unrealistic at all. being active doesnt mean that she has to be on here 24/7 like she was while earning it just means that she needs to log in a few times here and there and update everyone as to how things are going in her now less hectic life because she isnt spending all her time on here and neglecting her womanly duties *parenting, so on n so forth*. Now dont get me wrong. I think the ladies might need a break too but how hard is it to log in here and there once a week at the least.. Just like checking their email, Log in, send a message or two, write a blog maybe, there contract fullfilled she is on active status. ehhh… I guess we will see how it all works out and if things change more or not.. til then….
I am here and active.. *although not a HOF member just yet*
~~niceswty~~
March 6th, 2010 at 1:13 pm
lets be realistic here- its only a necessity to sign in once in a 28 day period!
March 7th, 2010 at 1:27 am
I believe this is a rather reasonable change. I personally believe the HoFers should want to update the site atleast once a month but evidently things become more chaotic AFTER reaching HOF. Maybe there should be a warning to new members, benes and models, that life seems to become too time consuming to update your profile or contact a friend once a woman makes her goal….
Sarcasm aside, I think other features should be looked at regarding active and inactive HoFers such as the wishlist. Benes have to be paid members to access certain features but models don’t have to remain active to receive ‘presents’. Seems like a contradiction to me. I agree that no woman should be forced to remain on the site once her contract is up, I also agree that simply because someone logs in within 30 days does not mean she will be keeping in touch with anyone. I don’t think any enforcement should be left to a vote. The rule should be enforced equally for everyone. I think it’s a bit offensive to consider a ‘Top 5′ benefactor’s input is more valuable then another. At the same instance a Top 5 Bene would have more to gain by having the model suspended(more funds in means more funds transferable).
Im contantly dumbfounded at the notion that after reaching HOF it is so difficult to login within 30 days….I know the ladies deserve a break after spending hours a day here but Come on seriously????
March 7th, 2010 at 1:49 am
One other thing I would like to add is the fact that the ‘stealth mode’ does no favors for anyone. I think active status is as much a tool for benefactors as it is for the ladies. I see the convenience in using Stealth mode but rather than showing live activity (active 5 minutes ago, 5 hours ago, 5 days ago) such as the regular mode shows perhaps the display could be changes for Stealth to ‘Active within the last week…month…year’ so benes are not completely unaware of activity. Just a suggestion….
March 7th, 2010 at 2:39 am
Good move. I am with Big Daddy on his last statement. Stealth should only prevent the ability to chat or not, and the activity reflected on the profile should reflect actual activity. I am tired of seeing my “investments” sitting out there with no activity in more than 30 days.
And just to squelch any naysayers, as part of my vetting process, I do actually ask the model how active they plan on being. I am actually at a point now where I will be asking models to return donations I’ve made as they have not held up their end of a verbal contract. I want my hard earned money going to make a difference, and although management may not agree with this stance, I’d rather see that money go to a good cause. I cannot use the excuse “Life happens, give me my money back!” so why should the models?
March 7th, 2010 at 8:44 am
@jim, like anyone here is ever going to tell you that after HOF they will down tools and go do other things- good luck with those returned donations tho!
March 7th, 2010 at 10:17 am
Seeing as I have 8 days till papers and prior to meeting HOF I spent 5-12 hours a day on here, and now I come on to check messages and chat on average everyother day for an hour or three. I think my opinion in the matter is….
My family was put aside for the past 5 1/2 months and I am making up time with them now (three kids 9, 8, and almost 2 and a husband) This was a choice by me to make my dream come true. Even though I spend time with them more now I still make time for my amazing friends that I have met on MFI. Even if it’s not the 5-12 hours a day as it used to be.
As far as the comment that was made about girls “earning their breast implants” I feel as yes we have earned them, even if this is “My Free Implants” I do think the guys are right in wanting to be a part of the after because that was this site is about. (show some gratitude!)
Also, If a girl PIF’s that keeps her on here more too…just a thought for those who are against that…I still think that shows support from one girl to the next and builds some support for each other on the site and makes it more a fun environment by cheering for each other.
Regardless, I know the J’s are doing it for a good reason and that they keep both parties in mind when making changes like this.
March 7th, 2010 at 3:36 pm
Hey I just want to add to this that the rule was changed so girls had 14 months from the time they reached HOF…and, I want to also add, if you are pregnant the JJS will work with you and you are not allowed to get implants for 3 months after the time you stop breastfeeding. Just a thought I was thinking I’d share. and I think the rule is only fair. I am very active. I may not be able to chat as much as before but I blog and write messages almost every single day. *malery*
March 7th, 2010 at 10:30 pm
Well its about time. no more hof and run.. i think this overtime will make the site better overall. nothing hurts more then someone u build a friendship with. donate to. and then she leaves.. no more of that hof and run stuff. good job… should have been done a long time ago..
March 8th, 2010 at 12:17 am
I don’t think anyone expects women who have reached the hall of fame or had their surgery to be as active as they were before reaching their goal. Alicia says she had 5.5 to 12 hours a day here or on average about 60 hours a week. I would never expect her to continue that kind of pace after making HoF. But there is a big gap between the 60 hours a week she’s talking about and the 0 hours per month many models deliver once they reach HoF.
I don’t expect anything other than that women would live up to whatever contract they’ve executed with MFI and that MFI would enforce the terms of that contract if they don’t.
March 8th, 2010 at 2:56 pm
Whatever contract… There is the rub. Benefactors do not see the model agreement. The women can see a sample of the agreement but are not provided with a valid agreement until 30 days after they have reached the HoF.
Once the agreement is returned and accepted by MFI, I believe it is the terms and stipulations of the model agreement that would be enforceable by law and not necessarily the rules stated on the website. I don’t know what is stated in the model agreement that is returned to MFI.
I could be wrong but if the activity requirement is not stipulated in the model agreement, how could MFI try to enforce that rule over a legally binding document? If the activity rule is not mentioned in the model agreement, the discussion on whether or not to apply it for models who have returned the agreement may be an exercise in futility.
March 8th, 2010 at 5:51 pm
Well guys, I’m still here and I have no intentions of leaving anytime soon. I keep in contact w/ many people still and I have no problem whats so ever taking some time out of my life to show that I care….I do care =) I think as long as the rules can be bent a little for certain cases then I think this rule is good.

Thanks Drone
