Apple Bans (some) Sexual Content From the App Store
by Jeanette: MyFreeImplants on February 20th, 2010Apple has been making some major changes to its App Store policies regarding sexual content that could render many developers’ applications worthless.
Jon Atherton, the creator of Wobble iBoobs, told TechCrunch that he received an email from Apple informing him that his application was being removed from the App Store due to a new policy change. After receiving complaints from customers, Apple has decided “to remove any overtly sexual content from the App Store.”
Though applications such as “Sexy Girls Uncovered,” and “Sex Strip” have yet to be deemed “overtly” sexual, poor Wobble iBoobs has been kicked to the curb.
