For those of you having surgeries outside of the United States, you now have access to a very simple way to compute your actual surgery cost in US dollars (the currency of the website) from the currency your surgeon has provided your price quote in. It’s a very straight forward process that is integrated into the “Add/Edit Surgery Goal” page. Just enter the actual total amount on your doctors price quote, and then choose the appropriate currency from the list. Then once you add/update your goal, we’ll automatically calculate the US dollar equivalent for you. No more having to go look up the rate on xe.com or other currency conversion websites!
Right now we are only providing conversion from the following 17 currencies:
- Australian Dollar (AUD)
- Brazilian Real (BRL)
- Canadian Dollar (CAD)
- Colombian Peso (COP)
- Czech Koruna (CZK)
- Dominican Peso (DOP)
- Estonian Kroon (EEK)
- Euro (EUR)
- British Pound (GBP)
- Mexican Peso (MXN)
- Norwegian Kroner (NOK)
- New Zealand Dollar (NZD)
- Philippine Peso (PHP)
- Polish Zloty (PLN)
- Thai Baht (THB)
- Taiwan Dollar (TWD)
- Ukraine Hryvnia (UAH)
That list was generated based on past payments we’ve made in those currencies. We do however have the ability to easily support 117 others currencies should the need arise for someone to have their surgery payment made in say Mongolian Tugrik (MNT) for example. If you need a currency not on this list, just contact us to have it added for you.
Currency rates are updated roughly twice daily and we will be adding in a feature later today that will automatically adjust surgery goals for those ladies with non-US currency goals. AND, we’re even factoring in the difference of buy/sell rates of currencies based on our historical data of the variance of those rates.
All in all, these changes should give everyone a much more clear and accurate picture of exactly how much each lady needs to earn, regardless of geographic location, and greatly reduce the number of instances of ladies needing to come out of HOF to raise more funds due to fluctuations in the global economy.

Leave A CommentWell done. I’m sure its not been the easiest feature to incorporate as it draws data from elsewhere.
This will be of huge value to all the non-US girls.
Oh but I like xe.com!
Huzzah and other foreign-sounding words of encouragement!
Awesome news!
