A Singapore nightclub is attracting attention for a recent promotion rewarding ladies with free booze depending on their bra size.
The OverEasy nightclub has launched the “Fill My Cups” initiative to promote events hosted by Australian DJ “DCUP.” Cheryl Ho, spokeswoman for the club explained: “It was really a play on the guest DJ’s name. When we heard that it was DCUP, we decided to give the event an added spin.”
The promotion is being judged by one man and one woman, neither who are “boob or bra-sizing” experts. Ho stated that the two judges are “[their] personal friends who will simply guesstimate as to the women’s bra cup sizes.” She added, “We don’t condone touch tests.”
The prizes for the “guesstimates” are one free drink for an A-cup, two for a B-cup, three for a C-cup, and a free bottle of vodka for D-cups.
The promotion has provoked a mixed response of both laughter and criticism. One local 19-year-old woman said, “I think the concept is funny but I would not degrade myself by being a part of it.”
President of the Association of Women for Action and Research (Aware) Dana Lam labeled the event “demeaning”. She said, “I’d laugh at the silliness (of this event) if I didn’t know better;” adding, “Women should think twice before popping themselves in there.”
Others believe that “booze for boobs” is harmless, and is in fact, quite humorous. Student Lek Ning, 20, who considers herself a C-cup, said that she found the event hilarious, acknowledging that after all, she is “rather proud of [her] assets.”

Same as all the promotional ladies nights that offer free drinks to women. This one is just more creative and targets a specific group. Clever.
