We’re just now pushing out the following updates to the blogs:
- Ladies can now give benefactor blogs a star rating for benefactor blogs that they like. Along with this of course, benefactors can now see how many stars their blogs have received, and if you click through to the actual blog you can see who gave it a star. (33 votes)
- We’ve updated the blog listing page for individuals to be a bit more consistent with other blog list displays (this mostly affects the ladies view of their own blogs)
- And finally, as per request (with 131 votes) we’ve enabled the ability for anyone to “delete” blogs which will remove it from the public list of blogs. Keep in mind that this is not a complete and total deletion however. Instead, if you mark a blog as deleted, it will only make it unavailable to people that joined MyFreeImplants AFTER the date the blog was originally published. Anyone that had an account prior to the publish date will still be able to read it. Any blog that has been marked as deleted will still have the title accessible, but it will be
crossed outto indicate it’s deleted state. Said another way it will make the selected blogs hidden from new members that never had a chance to see them anyways, but older members can still access them since they already saw them anyways. This solution is also one of the “perks” offered to long time members. In addition it will allow people to invite their friends to join MFI while still protecting their “checkered past” as these new people would not have access to those now inaccessible blogs. - Since we are also adding the ability to delete blogs, we’ve also opening up all past blogs and made them accessible. Previously only the 200 most recent blogs for a person we’re available on their profile. Now there is no limit to the number of past blogs you can view. It displays 50 blogs per page for as many blogs as you/then have.
- We’re also going to experiment with enabling HOF ladies to show up in the Top 20 bloggers list. HOF ladies have a wealth of good information and insight that is valuable to the newbies, so we’ll see how this experiment goes for a little while. And of course, as always, we welcome your feedback.

Leave A CommentThis really has nothing to do with the recent “vibe” of the blogs. It’s purely coincidental that we had blog updates in the pipeline during this recent meme that sprouted up in the last day or so.
Again, ladies… if you think you’re photos are being misused. Tell us about it. We can’t help you if we don’t know about it. We’ve only ever seen one actual indecent of someones photos being redistributed. When this was brought to our attention, the other website was contacted about it, and the photos came down within 24-hours. To our knowledge, this has only happened once. We’ve heard RUMORS about other incidents on several occasions. But only ONCE was it verified to be true, and as I said the necessary actions were taken to resolve the matter.
So again… if there is an issue, we need to be made aware of it or we can’t help you. We aren’t mind readers, so help us to help you. Thanks!
this is pretty neat so far..i like the staring, i like my blog list..and i soo like that i can see all my blogs now !! yay! i had soo damn many!! hahahahaha
:)
Awesome changes. I am excited to see who actually reads, and enjoys my blogs. (Yes, actually, a man of few words!)
love this new feature Id love to share my exprience to HOF and help other girls who would like insight on how to reach thei goals…its a great way for us Hoffers who are around for now to help the new girls like we were helped out before
Love the idea we can now delete old blogs, maybe it is an idea to have a seperate HOF bloggers chart. As it may look to some that someone has come out of HOF, especially to those that have PIF. I know one friend did tonight and I had to go check for her.
I love everything except HoFfers as top bloggers. This experiment has already been tried. The hoffers (most of them) appeared to hate it. At the very least, I think a top 20 hof bloggers separate from the current list would be a better plan.
I want to be able to vote for other bene blogs as well.
Agree with Drone on the HOFers sucking up precious Top 20 space on the blog list. They are still followed, and still show up on the highly rated blogs. Let those fighting for HOF retain that Top 20 space.
i agree wiht the hof thing…i dont want to take space from a girl who is still earning!
i am num 6 blogger but in my next blog i will just ask for no stars…being on the front page is good if its an advice blog btu i dont wanna be on top 20′s! and im sure the models dont want us their either
I cant seem to figure out how to star the benes blogs… ??? This is awesome but I would like to be able to use it too.
Great improvements well done !
Love being able to star my friends blogs and the ability to delete blogs.. however I dont mind if the HOF ladies are in the top 20 bloggers list or not. I dont blog enough or have enough friends that rate my blogs to worry about being in the top 20 and I do like to see the HOF ladies blogs. But I do think having a seperate section just for HOF ladies blogs as It would make it easier to go through and read all the advice they give in one area rather then have to go searching through all the recent blogs trying to find a HOF ladies blog with advice and experiences. On another note I think that ladies should be able to star blogs of HOF ladies to show them they do have listeners and we hang on to their every word of advice and encouragement. I love reading their experiences good or bad. Every little bit helps.

The main difference this time in including HOF girls in the top 20 bloggers list, is now you can click on the ladies in the list (any of them, not JUST HOF ladies) and see a page with their Top 10 blogs. The last time we tried this, there was no way for ladies to read the blogs from the best bloggers, so it didn’t really help in educating people about what the community looks for in a good blog. All they could see was who the person was, which isn’t really the point as blogs SHOULD be rated on their content, not on their author.
Now, you can click on any of the Top Bloggers and see that persons top blogs — the crème de la crème if you will. There was a slight bug in this list however in that only HOF ladies had access to those links, but that has since been fixed and now everyone can access it. I’ve also gone ahead and increased the Top 20 Bloggers list to a Top 30 to allow for more variety, and hopefully a few non-HOFers can get some exposure in the list along with HOF ladies.
Well I have addded on the Feedback forum a suggestion for a HOF Blog chart, feel free to vote if you like.
All looks good – now i just have to start blogging again to get some votes .. i like getting votes!! lol
I know we had the HOF girls in the bloggers list before, and that the experiment was terminated. But i do agree that it should be seen as a challenge to the active girls to do more, better blogs. Plus if they can see some blog history, maybe it will inspire them to do better.
I’m sure i’m not the only one to notice that the blogs do seem to lack originality lately.
I agree with Jim. I would have loved to give one of Doc’s last blogs a thumbs up.
i love being able to vote on the bene blogs and deleting my own previous blogs. but what i would like to see is us women being able to vote on each others blogs. i hate not being able to have any contact with the women but i do understand why the rules are in place. but i think us females voting on each others blogs would really give everyone a better community spirit. its hard some days here and to get a thumbs up from someone going through the same things can really help. please!
cheers, Danica
I suppose I should protest the travesty that this re-inflicts my older blogs on an unsuspecting world — but instead I’ll wait for stars to roll in…
Of course, now my plan to simply recycle all my old blogs once I got to 1,000 will be patently transparent to everyone… : (
Also, do I have to send ‘thank you pictures’ to people that give me a star?
I don’t see where there is a place to rate a blog..Someone care to fill me in?? Thanx..Milf..
