Thanks; good change. Now I am able to look at one message exchange that made NO sense two days ago that is making a LOT more sense today!
It seems to me that “deleting” messages is a way to address how the receiver manages her/his inbox, but it is an imperfect way because of how it impacts the sender as well.

I’m guessing this is taking awhile to kick in across the whole site… I know of one that I deleted while chatting to someone as an experiment on how the delete option worked, and it’s not in the message archive. Not yet, anyway…

As CCR put it, it has been sort of hell. I would go to a friends profile and just see a load of messages from her, sometimes its hard to remember if you have sent them a message or not and if so what did you say and if there is anything else to add. Very glad we can see all the messages again.
