Survey information suggests that more than half of women are not wearing the right size bras. This is mainly because they are not taught how to correctly size themselves. Thanks to Kim for providing us a link to this handy online bra sizing tool!

Leave A CommentYes, I wear like a B but its always huge and my doctor informed me that Im really an A… but A bra’s dont fit me..weird.
The lady who did my fitting for me also mentioned that many companies size the bras differently. She say some company make theirs one size down, so if you are a B, you will need a C. It is marketing at it’s best as most ladies want to be bigger or at least think they are bigger. So learning to find a bra that fits properly is such a great idea.
I agree with Jake..The size chart doesn’t work for all bra brands! The lady at VS “sized” me months after my surgery and told me I wore a B. So she brought in some B’s for me. I laughed at her because not a single one covered my nips! So she had to measure me again and have another gal measure me! Both said I measure a B and still continued to bring me B cup bra’s! Not a single one fit me! I ended up leaving and went to Kohl’s! The lady there measured me a C and I ended up buying bras with good coverage!
One brand has me at a D!.. Im good with a C
When I found this information I thought that this would give us girls a general idea of what size we are after surgery. But you girls are right…some brands are sized a bit differently then others…its always best to try on your bra before you make the actual purchase
hmmm just another way to confuse the average person and make them go running back to their favorite bra whether it fits correctly or not.

mmm, good times…
Even at VS, the same size doesn’t always work when trying on a few bras. You definitely should try on bras before making a purchase. Padding, wire vs. wireless, demi-cup vs. full cup all play a significant roll in size!!
Oh yeah- implants all play a roll in whether or not a bra will fit. Some women have “gapping” on the sides due to HP implants, for example. There are some brands which are better for women with implants– such as Wacoal (check my spelling).
@Sweet Lola I know the pain…the implants I have right now are high profile and the felina brand bra isn’t a great one for me. But, Wacoal is a good brand and on the rare occasion that I can find a Vasserette brand bra in my size it really seems to fit well.
I have to say when you have implants these measuring tools just dont work! I have just measured myself and converted it….it came back as a 35.5 B…..I am a 34F which fits me perfect! I think trial and error is the only way top find the right bra size.Emma xx
tehehe all in all this is one implant issue I am looking forward to having
