As many of you know, MFI deals with many plastic surgeons and media professionals who constantly scrutinize the website. For that reason, we have strict rules for the public areas of the website, which only allow content suitable for all audiences. What you post or discuss privately is none of our business, but there have been several instances in the past where we have gotten bad media publicity because of a few choice blogs. More importantly, there have been situations where a surgeon has refused to accept payment for a ladies surgery because of some blogs that were posted with vulgar content. Since that completely defeats the purpose of the website, (paying surgeons for the implants) we need to enforce the rules of the blogs and public photos to makes sure one person does not have an adverse affect on another person’s surgery. It’s not fair to others if a few bad apples ruin people’s chances of having their dreams fulfilled.

We need everyone’s help enforcing the public content rules. If you see a violation, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are all responsible for keeping MFI clean!

I wasn’t calling anyone names. Just saying that the blog came across that way. Hey, I agree with you…everything public should be clean..whatever anyone does behind the scenes is their own business. I went through the rejection thing and it really upset me…believe me the J’s both got emails from me lol I’m sure I was a stark raving lunatic in the first email I sent lmao

ok damn….I hope Kim that you didn’t misunderstand my last message here.

I was more or less saying that anyone else here could call me what they wished…not you babe.

Kim, I have adored you since I started here and have the utmost respect for you. You are a great woman and an inspiration to myself and many others here.

I do know that my blog was a tad bit bitchy…but I also can’t just hide the hurt I was feeling when I wrote that….not good at hiding my emotions.

Jayda, can I call you a cranky bitch? ;)

Jay, who, in authority, looks at the site on nights? This is the time that I see way too many women getting away with murder. We can talk about a snapshot at noon on weekdays, but at 10pm PT, you can login and see those who are “ladies by day, whores by night”. I can remember reporting them, with screen shots and time stamps and PIC_IDs, to no avail, as it happened night after night. And I know at least one of the commenters was a culprit for a period of time.

And Jay, we can disagree to enforcement of rules (those check boxes or warnings on any given input page), terms (the overall legal terms of the site), and contracts (what a model agrees to for her check), until the day the cows come home. It is a thread that runs from the beginning of a model’s journey here, to when they are paid. Sure, some models who break the terms get booted, some reported models who cannot adhere to the rules get their hands slapped. I’d be curious how many success stories here never fulfill their “Agreement to Pay” contract with MFI, but not submitting their post-op pics. Countless number of “success” stories I know of who haven’t, and this is a legally binding agreement. Which is why I question if they are just mere numbers to reflect the “success” of the business, not the viability of the community.

i have a question to a male member and benefactor member and my question has nothing to do with what is in this thread: Why, Jim, have stopped blogging.

Personally i do miss them, your well written and well executed blogs. Why? I maybe not always agree with you but i do enjoy them any time.

well if you do not want to answer through here i understand that but if you choose to answer me you can of course do so through any of lady your want and have close.

Jayda, I just didn’t want there to be problems hon…I give you kudos for being the way you are. More people should be as passionate as you are…That is one of the reasons I admire you. :) I know how you feel hon…it sucks to deal with a doctor that won’t deal with the site and not because of something you did…

CCR, I stopped blogging, because I’ve grown tired and frustrated about a lot of the stuff we are discussing here. I’ve been a vocal member of this community, going so far many times to admit I’ve been a part of this policing, and been ridiculed many times about doing so. There were a few times where I did not feel things were dealt with in parity with other incidents. Sometimes, when you bash your head against a wall so many times, it begins to hurt. I stepped back, to re-assess my part in this community.

I will admit, I did go check out another neighborhood, and although I liked the look of the neighborhood, as well as the response from management, I found that too many of the female members who I considered to be genuine during their time in this community, acted different there, either showing their true colors, or being persuaded by a new found greed. I’ve been humbled by my circumstances over the last year, and realize that money can be the root of evil, and as I’ve brought balance to my life, I realized that neighborhood was not for me.

Not that I am back in the capacity I was before (even Jason noted my absence in a message to me earlier today), but when it seems like you are the lone voice in the crowd, you evaluate your true worth to the community. Like a tree in the forest, if my voice is silenced, would anyone notice? I know a few hear, but as Alissa noted earlier, the community spirit is no longer what it was a year ago, or even six months ago. I have a few ideas why, but again, my head hurts, as they are the same reasons I’ve been preaching since we were given the soapbox of the bene blogs.

    Even dinosaurs ceased to exist…

Jim Im glad you noticed that the site has lost its feel of community spirt.I remember those days and they werent all that long ago.I hope that we can have it once again and find a good balance.Joe you are correct that us who play cop if thats what you want to call it should walk our straight line. When I say something in my blogs to other girls Ive downright admitted that I have done the wrong thing in the past.Dont want to see these ladies lose it all over something small that can be prevented. If someone cant understand that then I dont think they ever will.

Other community moderated sites allow users to flag content that is inappropriate, not just report it. Once content has enough flags it is no longer visible. I recognize that MFI is different because of the cash involved, but I think there needs to be some system for this sort of thing.
    My suggestions would be:

Profile Pics. There are already benefactors who look at fan signs to see if they are legitimate. Why not give those benefactors the right to mark a profile as inappropriate. Once several of them say it’s inappropriate change that woman’s profile to one of her fan signs. Give Hall of Famers the same option on the benefactors side. There are no fan signs, so when a benefactor’s profile gets tagged he just goes back to a blank picture. Another possibility would be to create another category of pics called “profile” and only pictures judged appropriate for the category could be used as profile pictures.

Blogs. Give all members the ability to flag inappropriate content. You’ll probably have to experiment to find out what the right threshold is, but once that threshold is reached the blog is switched from public to private.

Names. Members need to pay attention to names as well. “Msg=pussy pic” is not a very good name.

Plonk. Maybe the old usenet style Plonk could be created. Once you plonk someone you just don’t see them anymore. There are people here who will never get along. Allowing them to ignore each other is probably a good thing. This could be as simple as extending the block feature to not show me that person’s blogs or profile.

One of the issues now is that reporting offenses is time-consuming and the offender may have changed back before the offense is judged.

i am in support of cleaning up the blogs, great ideas guys, but i do feel a little concerned at leaving the responsibility in the hands other than the J’s as i fear what peoples motives would really be, as you said not everyone gets along *wink wink* and we all know some poeple can get crappy!

Ed Says: May 09, 2009 at 12:14 pm

I think the answer is that those who moderated could themselves by moderated by the J’s. If, for example, a certain block of users consistently bashes content from another user then those users could lose their moderation privileges.

It is easy to find reasons why something won’t work. The challenge is to create something that could work. Without taking a chance then there will be no change. I’m sure there are those here who could point to dozens of changes that others said would not work but which are working now.

Even a simple change like the new member listings can be good or bad. For those who want to welcome new members it is a great benefit. Sadly, it also helps those who want to prey on new members. It is up to the J’s (based on their observations, including member feedback) to examine the effects of the change and determine if it has helped or hindered the community.

Glad to see this is finally posted in the news section. However I am sure the offenders don’t read this part of the site! Hell they can’t even read the simple rules part when they change their default photo! I agree with Jim..Ladies by day, whores by night! Hence why i avoid the ladies blogs at night now~ Its disgusting and disrespectful~ Sore subject for me..I’m one whos surgeon refused payment from here just 10 days before my surgery because of what they seen in the public eye~ Good try J’s…but unfortunately they still wont get it~

J’S!This one is for you.I read a blog on the mens side today that has me thinking. Why are some girls allowed to take hand bra pics and some arent.I was always told that a woman holding her tits in her hands was against the rules. Now sometimes its ok?It isnt right. If a large breasted woman cant hold her big boobs in her hands neither should a small breasted woman. Its still inappropriate. Also there is a girl who has had at thong pic up for a month and her pic isnt removed? It always seems like if you have a large butt its sexual in a thong and if its small then it isnt sexual.I think we need clear picture rules because I dont want to waste my time reporting if it doesnt matter.Im not trying to be rude but we need clear rules.

As i said in comment above: You guys will learn that everything you think is inappropriate is not for the management and they own this site and do as they like. That is what i have experienced and do not longer police such matters as a default pic.

Further i want to thank Jim for his answer to me and fully understand him.
