I figured this out toward the end of my journey to HOF and man, I wish that someone would have told me sooner!  So, after seeing a bunch of posts about how long it takes to upload vlogs on YouTube or upload videos to MediaFire, I have a way that will make it much faster.  Doing it this way also allows the benefactors to put the videos you send them on their iPods!  Here is the secret:

1. Go to www.google.com and type “jodix free iPod video converter” into the search bar.
2. Download the converter.
3. Once the converter is downloaded, open it.  From here, it will give you tips or you can cancel out of them.
4. Click the “add file” button,” find your video and add it.
5. For those who are computer savvy, you can change the size, pixels, etc. next…or you can leave it be.
6. Once you have opened the file, click convert.
7. In a matter of minutes, it will change your file to an MP4 format.

Now, what is so great about this?  An MP4 format is much smaller than the original files that you make.  This way, you can upload a longer video to mediafire!  Also, since the file is smaller, it will upload to YouTube in minutes as opposed to hours!   (And it takes up much less space on your computer!)

There is only one problem with this approach.  Please tell you benefactors in advance if you are sending them an MP4 file through MediaFire as they will have to have an updated version of Quicktime to view the files.  If the MP4 is uploaded to YouTube , no one should have a problem seeing them.  Viola!  You know have a way to upload *much* faster than ever before!
