MFI is a community much like any community. It has its good aspects as well as its bad aspects. Lately the not so pleasant side has been coming to the forefront. There seems to be more infighting being played out in the blogs than I remember even a month or so ago. This community is growing each day and perhaps this trend is just a side effect of the growth. I haven’t been here long enough to know if this is a normal cycle or a new trend.

I have noticed some of the veterans are getting tired of constantly reminding others why we are here and how to conduct ourselves in a considerate manner. I can see why once a woman reaches her goal and who has promised to remain on the site may have second thoughts. You can only bang your head against the same wall for so long before something gives. Lately, it isn’t the wall that has been giving.

As it has been said before, the last 200 blogs can be seen by the public without signing up for MFI. More blogs than those can be seen if one uses search engines sites that keep copies of older pages. It is hard to show MFI in a positive light when so much of the public content here takes a negative tone.

What I would like to see is for one day, only the good side of MFI shows. One day without public arguments. One day without complaints. One day without disparaging remarks. One day where everyone puts forth their best effort.

One day of faces rather than other body parts being used for the default profile picture. I believe faces are much lovelier than anyone’s backside, no matter how spectacular it is.

One day where your thoughts and ideas are written in your blogs. Let people know what makes you the special person you are. If the best you can say in a blog is “I’m horny” or “I’m bored”, perhaps a day of quiet reflection is in order. I know we can do better.

One day where there isn’t any nudity or implied nudity in the blogs or profile pictures. One day without explicit blog offers. You can still conduct your normal activities with your profile comments and private messaging. Whatever you do in private is of no concern. Just keep the public areas positive.

I’m thinking of making that day February 29th. Think of it as a ‘leap’ of faith and goodwill.

I know I’m asking more from the community than I can reasonably expect. Life isn’t very reasonable most of the time. I believe we can do this. I believe in the MFI community.

I also know I can’t do this alone. If you think this is a good idea, let your friends know.

Just one day.

    One thing just!

i don’t understand why the blogs have to be public to the price that the site has good relevance in search engines? That is what Jason told me when i asked if the blogs have to be public.

Are ladies informed when they sign up that the blogs are public? When i last time asked a lady, she said no. If i was one that signed up here, would probably not blog if knew they were public, just for my own privacy!

Also in all this to strive to the perfect community, there is a twist: Competition and Money! i easily forget that when think a girl should do this and that, not blog that and this etc etc. These to components to the MFI community changes people, even me.

Ok this was not just one thing! it was more and also a question or two.

I would have to agree with Walter…I haven’t been on as much myself because of a lot factors but the things he has mentioned are partly why. I enjoy meeting the people and have met some amazing people here, but lately I have been getting messages and reading blogs that really don’t
seem to lead down that path. Just my two coppers worth.

I have been here for 6 months. In the last 6 months without a doubt , I will get more messages and adds when I have made a blog post of some interest. I have found for me it has worked out well, to blog about anything under the sun of topics then “bored”, or I have this or that now available. I do get messages on my default profile picture when having, sorry, but more clothing on. Chat hasn’t always been the best experience for me, but when can talk about anything not just adult content it has been rewarding for both involved. My two cents what ever its worth!. Party people try to show your true personality and character, it does pay off in more then just dollar signs.

Drone Says: February 04, 2008 at 5:28 am

I think there are two reasons to make the blogs public.

First, search engines love blogs. They are updated frequently, usually have real human opinions, and are generally less likely to be out to trick the search engines into providing fake search results.

The second one is where Walter’s idea would really help. If you go search for “free implants”, you’ll find MFI is number 1 on most search engines. The tricky part is that men are less likely to be looking for “free implants” than women, meaning that particular key word is probably not great for the ladies here since it is liable to bring in more competition.

On the other hand, if you discuss your hobbies and interests, men who share those hobbies and interests may be searching for them and find your blog. Following those links may get them interested in you.

There is really a two-fold dilemma here. Yes, the women on the site are in competition for the attention of benefactors and those semi-pornographic blogs and offers may get some attention. On the other hand, this site is competing with many other sites for attention from the internet as a whole. It is a fight that MFI is unlikely to win if the battleground is sex or pornography given that many dedicated sites are also working hard to be number one in that category.

If you discuss sex in your blogs, you may beat the other women here for the attention of those who are looking for that. If you discuss something else, you may bring in new benefactors entirely. In a way it comes down to choosing whether to blog to get a bigger share of the pie we have or to blog with the idea of getting a bigger pie.

Wow, someone finally had the balls to step forward and tell it like it is. Awesome stuff, Walter, and thank you for bringing it up. The blogs here have always been (and still are) one of my favorite things to read and take part in here at MFI but, lately, I have been slacking off a little in that department myself simply because of the decline of quality blogs that are now even to be found here. Not so long ago you could easily find a good portion of the blogs were worthwhile reading but now, unfortunately, that good portion has gone straight to the dogs with more blogs becoming more and more commercialized by the day. It’s difficult to even say whether we’re really reading blogs anymore as opposed to browsing through advertisements for purchasing pornographic material. In addition, it is rather hard to sell “yourself” when the blog right before yours is selling private parts and the like instead. The pressure that puts one under to do the same exact thing is profound to say the least, especially when you take into consideration that these particular “sells” are likely getting some gals to their goals in a quicker fashion than those that don’t sell “particulars” of the same thing. Yes, sex sells, but that’s old news so why the need to make it sound like the next best up n’ coming thing by announcing it to the general public by way of blogging? Personally, when I see gals selling sex (yes, that “IS” what it is you’re doing, girls) I automatically sense desperation in their words and, let’s face it, very few (whether male or female) find desperation an attractive quality to find in anyone. How many desperate men and women do you go out of your way to hook up with? I can only imagine that if someone is “that” desperate there must be something more to the “why” part of their doing it then simply wanting bigger breasts. Besides, selling sex thru blogging here is against the guidelines to begin with so why is anyone doing it anyway? Obviously, there is some competition among the gals to gain more and more benefactors and that is understandable but, even so, everyone should at least be playing on an even keel to help level that competition out. Fair is fair, why not stick to the rules and give everyone the same fair shot? After all, we’re all shooting for the same thing…aren’t we?!

Thanx again, Walter, I’m looking forward to February 29th.

I was actually thinking the other day that maybe it would be better if default pics were just of girls faces, if someone was to look at the site for the first time, I don’t think they’d be put off half as much as they may be if all they saw was someones butt in their face and everyone would get an equal chance of guys messaging them, too but that’s just my opinion of course. I was thinking some other things too but i’ve already written more than I intended to haha so i’ll shut up! I know i’ve been guilty of writing not so great blogs in the past but i’ll try not to from now on! xx

  • 13
Brittany Ann Says: February 04, 2008 at 7:59 am

I think Buffy makes a great point. hmm, maybe I should change my default. But then again, there are girls who refuse to show their face, which I think is rubish.

But, then again, maybe they aren’t proud to admit “HEY I GOT BOOBS FOR FREE!”

I use to be, but with some of the blogs other girls write, I do get embarassed of what they make MFI out to be (I must admit, I am guilty to some degree).

Maybe if the first msg ever girl recieved was something along the lines of “The Quick Guide to MFI”

No nudity in default pics, no offsite communication, all blogs are public. la da da da da

Some probably think my blogs are annoying and useless.

But let me tell you what blogs are, an online diary.

And mine talk about my shares of ups and down. I’m not going to say “omg. today is wonderful! It is -32 degrees outside, my dog was ran over by a mack on 55! Isn’t that exciting!”

Because no, a blog from me would not sound like that.

Okay, too long of a comment lol, going to blog know.. But.. today is a pretty good day.. lol

CCR Says: February 04, 2008 at 8:04 am

Hmm, ok i am for that girls should show faces in the default pic, but for me this is double. i don’t mind seeing body parts as long they are in my world classy done. You get the idea. Further there are always a few ladies that choose not to show their fcve publicly. Should the now be forced to do that. No i don’t mind body parts as long it is classy done. It doesn’t need to be groins showing all over, because that is also not the case with body parts on the default pics.

A recent lady just made it to the HoF who never showed her face in the default. i think she can agree it took her maybe a bit longer to make her goal by not showing her face publicly. She also never had any pics up with her face in her gallery as long as i can remember

So one can think that only showing body parts will not always make more money. Further for me personally, i like the variation of classy default pics, now i know that what maybe is classy to me is not that for the other person and so on.

another things, rules should also be enforced to the guys. I’ve met a few of them who really encourage offsite communication. Leading new girls to think its ok.

    And!!

I don’t feel like looking at ur penis either! So lets keep that off default pictures.

I know guy’s pictures aren’t shown as much as the girls, but while we are on this subject I thought I would throw in my 4 cents.

I just threw in 2 a few minutes ago. 2+2=4

This is an ADULT website, anyone that joins as a memeber on this site should be aware that there may be some X-rated content displayed.
Now lets not mess with legitimate free expression..the blogs posted here are a way to self actualize and apparently lately, the quest for truth about MFI. Just because a few people think highly of this site doesnt mean thats what everyone should say or think about the site. Everyone is entitled to thier own opinion and there is nothing wrong with stating those thoughts or ideas..These blogs are not hurting anyone, let people say what they want..MyFreeImplants is open to the public and opinions cannot be considered defamatory in anyway.. its like saying people are not allowed to talk about how crazy (or not) Britney Spears is..

When I first started blogging I admit I blogged some pretty out there stuff that I am not so proud of. Those blogs didn’t bring me anyone. I’m sure that some looked at those and thought they would stear clear of me and did. I think it was around that time that I found out that our blogs were public. I found that once I started blogging about my day in a positive light I got more responses. I also know that my husband who is also a member on this site purposely avoids the blogs because of the drama or lack of content in them.

On the subject of body parts in the default pics: I am one to think that a nice smile will get you further then your booty out there. I understand that there are some that don’t want to show their face and I can understand that. I believe there is one girl on here who has struck it right. She has a pic that doesn’t show her face and it shows a red flower in the pic. Its tasteful and pleasant to look at. I think something like that for the girls who don’t want to show their face is good.

    Great article Walter..

PS: take note as to where the original idea for MyFreeImplants came from… A strip club in Las Vegas.

CCR Says: February 04, 2008 at 9:31 am

I agree with Miss Minxie. MFI is an adult web site either it contains pornographic material or not. Adult subjects are discussed here, sexual or not.

What i hear from more and more girls is that guys ask for adult content for donations. So, for me, it is no wonder that will also be in the blogs time to time. If we guys stop ask for adult content then the blogs would look different. It is about supply and demand! Ladies are here to earn money for boobs, that is the bottom line for them, and every way possible will be used for them to get to that goal. And if guys ask for adult material then, Ladies will provide that and also use the blogs to show that they have it. Either we like it or not!

For the girls that know me and have written and talked to me they know that I myself am looking for friendship more than anything else. I am usually one of the first people to write to a new girl. One of their first questions have always been do I have to do nudes to make it here. I have always told them no! Some girls do not mind having nude shots done, Every girl has her own comfort level. The one thing I do tell them is the worst thing you can do is when you look in the mirror at your wonderful new breasts is to be ashamed of what you had to do to get them. I know freedom of expression always comes into play but I don’t feel that public blogs should be the place to practice it. It is best left in private between two people.

I agree with Terry-anne…theres a time n place for crude material– being aired in public isnt the best place for it..to some all it proves is that you dont have to find your friends…just show em your private quarters, they shall come running…This is still a community..this should be a place for everyone, not just one type..this isnt a click of friends sticking together, diversity needs rules to..those who do not listen/read the rules IE “No Nudes” she start to listen/read…The proofs in the pudding….It is putting benefactors of be friending them…Im aware of how MFI was started..that shouldnt mean that the average mother/sister/daughter shouldnt be excluded…this is a site to gain new breasts due to the fact that your not happy with the ones youve got:,Im not against porn/stripping/whatever floats your boat..but why blog it? there are private messages that you can send to your friends…kisses…Rachel xxx

Nastytalk Chris Says: February 04, 2008 at 10:22 am

I’m here for the porn, I make no bones about that. My profile makes that obvious. Now, I agree that the ladies should be made aware that the blogs are public (Although, you can safely assume that anything you do on the computer is public nowadays.), but I think in general the site has too many rules already. At some point, we went to no nudity on the default pics. I don’t even like that rule, I want to post my naked body and then hear from the ladies as to their opinion on it. However, I like the site, so I live with the rules. However, I don’t see why if you don’t like seeing me naked, you can’t just not look at my profile! As far as off-site communication goes, there would be many different ways of defining that if there is a picture that someone sends me which promotes a web site she has, if I then go to that web site and contact her, I refuse to believe I’d done anything wrong. If indeed we all are adults here (which I think we all hope we are) then I would like to think all of you ladies are capable of making sensible decisions regarding what information you want to give us or not. It seems like common sense and not rules should carry the day on this issue. One other thing I have always said is that there ought to be a clear division near the beginning of the site between the models who wish to use pornographic materials to help them along, and those who don’t. I think that would at least lessen the animosity between the two groups, if not within them. Anyway, that’s enough rambling for now.

Molly Says: February 04, 2008 at 10:45 am

Why should MFI only be nice one day? Why not everyday?

Maybe we need a new section on the site. For those who have their “offers” of 2,586,789 pics of themselves naked in a pizza oven during the running of the bulls for five dollars I am thinking an Advertisements Section would be good. A sort of Classified Section. Or declassified actuallu LOL. And yes I picked an example so outrageous noonecould possibly be insulted.

At least this way whoever is looking for that sort of thing can go directly to it and not be bothered with what happened in everyone’s day and those who actually care about the latest star wars video I found on youtube or whatever don’t have to tiptoe around the ads.

    I love lamp.

    Denis (24594) Says: February 04, 2008 at 11:13 am

I agree with a lot of the things that have already been said; the supply and demand thing is a big one. It seem that there are plenty of guys here asking specifically for adult content, therefore there are girls who are providing that content. As there is no clear MFI-specific guidelines (that I’ve seen), then new girls are likely to post that kind of stuff.

As for Walter’s original post; it seems to me that the site does go in cycles of girls giving each other a lot of help and then infighting for a while. I’ve been here 7 and a half months and thats what I’ve noticed in that time. The sheer numbers of new girls signing up is pushing everything out of shape though as there are so many different personalities, so I have no idea how things will go from now!

  • 25
    34A Says: February 04, 2008 at 11:46 am

I have to agree with Walter and with Jason, I skip over many of the blogs. The blogs SHOULD be a place where one can showcase their personality. I think it’s great that you’ve got 30 pics to offer for a $5 donation – but what does that tell the guys about YOU? Nothing other then you’ve got pics for donations. There is more to you then a pretty face (or behind, or whatever you’re into), why not let yourself shine through in the blogs???

Frankly, I feel like I’m reading craiglist half the time with the offers the girls have. And the endless copy and paste blogs – I can see why guys hate copy and paste messages. Or the whining – when I started I made a whiney post. One of the HoF’s replied and set my ass straight. I took her advice to heart (as well as a very kind gentleman), stopped whining and started trying to be me.

I think I found more friends through blogging then I did through messaging. There’s only so much you can put in your profile. If I were on the guys side, I’d be looking for a girl with something to talk about, not just a girl offering pics. Maybe some guys are just here for pictures, but there are a great many other guys that are out there to make friendships as well.

I like Molly’s idea of a “classified” section of MFI. An occasional mention of offers is fine, if there is also more content to the blogs then just “hey 30 HOT STEAMY pics for $5″.

But that’s my own two cents worth.

    **applauds Walter**

CCR Says: February 04, 2008 at 1:32 pm

i think often that MFI is hard as it is for the Ladies to accomplish. To not let every individual come out in the blogs either it’s well-executed and well-written blogs or offer pics for donation only, is just to restrict the progress for some, by saying only a certain kind of blogs are OK. Apparently some guys are here for some pics while others are here for friendship, discussions etc. Any kind of blogging is to get guys attention and those who do well-executed and well-written blogs will hit interest among the guys that want that and come here for that. Those who only blog about pics for donation will hit interest among her type of guys.

Through the 29 months i have been member here, there have always been a certain amount of so called porn blogs. Always. Same with the body parts in default pics. At some period of time there is less of it and then there is times when they get too much. Lately it has been less form my observation through time.

Again this is an adult web site men are donating/paying for breast implants, just that is adult and for the majority of men breasts are sexual attributes on women. Either we like it or not! And i think the ladies who come here and want to get help to get them knows that.

But of course there is always a time and place for everything but i think it is unfair to hit on newbies that see maybe in a blog something like this “hey guys i have also got new sexy pics of me” when she only takes up on the competition and blogs “hey guys i have new nudes of me”. Maybe she have that in her blog for a reason, being busy not having time, maybe because 80% of the guys who have shown interest in her have asked only for nude pics of her. And she is comfortable doing it.

For me MFI works on several dimensions: i have close friends that i can talk about anything. thats one dimension. i meet girls where i very much enjoy to get pics from them for donations. thats another dimension. I meet also ladies here who are into BDSM and can provide me with that. Thats a 3rd dimension. Some captures all 3 dimensions and more. Thats also a dimension. if MFI would not be able to provide me with all the levels or dimensions i would have left long time ago.

I said this before…many times, some of the XXX Fun Lovin’ Men on here have gotten sidetracked by my profile and stopped by for a visit on their way to Cute, Hot & Wild Thing’s place…it’s all good to me.

I think the MFI guidelines in place are just fine…maybe could be enforced better.
I’m not sure what I wanna try to ignore the most… copy cat cum and get it ads or the control freaky finger pointing blogs…both kinda short sighted IMHO….
I think a girl’s account can be the final Judge…I have seen XXX girl’s do a quick hit & run in here…to more reserved girls, like me, do just fine as well….and everything in between. I have seen some of us start one thing and switch to another method….it’s just fine.

The only thing I would try to suggest is reminding the Men to not pressure us for outside contact as long as our campaign is running.

I totally agree Walter. As you scroll down in blog land, all you see are pictures of asses, which is fine since we don’t have boobs to show off, but maybe save those pictures for your profiles ladies. Don’t give away all of the goods right away. Make them dig into your info/profile to find it.

I would love it if we all had pics of our faces as our defaults. I think it’s important to have a kick off date for all of this to happen and then see how long we can maintain this look and feel of the site. We get enough of a bad rep from people saying this is prostitution and whatnot. We absolutely should not be on here insulting each other. We’re all a team and support one another in this community. This is a website to be excited about… because we share the gift of giving and helping others. We’re not here to bash people we disagree with. If you have an alternate opinion about something someone says, blog about it in an adult way or don’t blog at all!

When I wrote this article, I was hoping to foster open discussions about the concerns I’ve read here lately. What is that old saying? “Careful what you wish for, you just might get it.”

I’ve read through the comments and talked with a few people. I think the idea of having two separate blog areas has a lot of merit. One section for the non-adult content that is visible without logging into MFI and another for the adult content that is NOT visible to the public. To see that blog section, one would need to be signed in AND have to select it. That way everyone has the conscious choice what kind of content they want to provide and want to see.

Not being a web designer myself, I don’t know how hard that would be to implement. I do believe that idea has merit.

I do appreciate and respect the opinions expressed here. Thank you for supporting MFI.

I had suggested a while ago that women on the site be offered the chance to check a box on their blog to categorize it. At the time I had suggested just one box “Explicit” but I think maybe a couple would be in order. “Explicit” and “Offers/Announcements”.

Make the public blogs not show anything with either of those two tags applied. Allow members to choose to view blogs with or without those tags or perhaps provide three different versions of the blog page. I think it would be nicer to have the option to “configure blogs” for each member’s default view but then allow them to see the rest if they wanted to.

This would allow members to choose which of those things they’d like to view when they look at blogs. I’d suggest making rules about what happens to people who don’t apply them properly but they’d never be enforced (at least not evenly) so there’s no point. I think if I didn’t want to see “explicit” and a particular woman kept not tagging them I’d just never donate to her. Alternately, we could pretend there were rules and suspend blogging privileges for a day or more for repeat offenders (say 2 “mistakes” in a week)

I should mention that Jason didn’t want to do the explicit tag because he was hoping not to become a porn site.

I should also mention that I think if there were reasons to write good blogs more women would. Yes, some benefactors will read them and be interested in them, but they fly by so fast that even a great blog is likely to be lost within a few minutes as it gets buried on page 19 behind 120 “Cum see my profile/contest/new offer” and “Help me reach my next goal” blogs.

Eh, as wonderful as it would be to be able to read truly interesting blogs on a regular basis, that’s asking a lot. Although I don’t believe I’ve ever written an “attention” blog, it’s understandable why a lot of girls do. While many of you guys do appreciate our minds and smiles, I understand that the pressure to share pornographic photos and videos with those who raise the stakes for doing so is all too tempting sometimes. Girls need to learn what works for them. Though I don’t believe advertising spicy photos would have helped me reach my goal any quicker, that might not be true for others, so I’ve chosen to except the blogs for what they are.

hmmm something similar to the news section, with all the catergories? I think that would be a good idea. I think its all the pornographic blogs giving the site a bad name. It’s not the site within itself. I’m sure there are pleanty of girls that don’t blog because they don’t want to place themselve in a category to get called out. I don’t know 100 percent sure where I am going with this, as I do often get mixed feelings about it. Devils and Angels.. it’s MFI.. Guys are just as different as the women. I know someone was blogging about how the default pictures would look. I know for women we have to be cover in our default pics.. aka No TIT NO VA JAY JAY… but in our profile we can have topless pics… but yet no vagina… As those can only be sent out thru private pics. Why should it be different for the guys? I don’t want to see your god damn hong sized penis on my screen! And it just do happens, its always when someone is around!

I for one like to be more than a little naughty–on or off MFI. I don’t feel like it makes me a mean or bad person to be proud of and show off my body. Unlike Rachel, I found that it helped rather than hurt me to be playful and open.

To be honest Penny…your beautiful…Im not offended by nudity or art…Hey..ive lived a little…nothing can offend me..other than being told to spread n play by crude guys..expecting me to give what others were offering…each to there own mode of friendship…I didnt actually see any adverts of crudity…The point is….The media are amongst us..the last thing we need is for us to be called a porn site…Im not against porn..I just dont think the place to advertise it is the blogs..simple really….Anyone can be as crude/rude/as they want…but it does have a knock on effect on the whole community..And yes i did get upset, when told to go n hang out on a street corner earning my keep….I to am proud of my body…I just didnt need to display it on the blogs…that the point of this news article..the blogs being porn/crude/rude free..not to ban it!!!!!
