すばらしいのブラです! Translation: “It’s a wonderful bra!”

God, do I love Japan. My three years in that country were the funnest of my life. And, wouldn’t you know it, the geniuses over at Triumph Lingerie have whipped-up a most ingenious way to stash your disposable chopsticks.
Obviously this isn’t a real product, but an easy way for that company to get some free air-time without bothering to pay for a commercial. They laughably suggest it’s a way of getting people to reduce the millions of disposable wooden chopsticks which are thrown-away each year.
(Fun fact: of all industrialized countries in the world, Japan has the highest percentage of forest cover… yet they import wood from countries like Australia and China which are both facing enormous problems with forest destruction. That Australia and China are so eager to go-along with Japan’s de facto export of deforestation seems rather dumb to me, but who am I to judge?)
The bra itself shows us a very typical-looking Japanese lunch, with a bowl of white rice on one side and a bowl of miso (note the tofu chunks) on the left. Oddly, the surface of the miso seems to be convex, as if it’s bulging-upwards against the force of gravity itself.
Only part of the meal that’s missing is a slice of baked fish. I wonder where they stashed it?
