In typical mass-media fashion a lot of quotes were taken out of context for this article. Everyone from the website that gave interviews for the article obviously spoke highly of MyFreeImplants, but the reporter had her own vision of how she wanted to skew the story. I can’t really say I was surprised after The New York Times mentioned that the article would be a “critical” one.

“Would you let a man pay for your new breasts?”
Well, seeing as how Elle doesn’t mind telling its readers that it’s okay whenever a man pays for everything else, I don’t see why this should be controversial.
Touché!
It’s a well written article but the authors agenda was set in stone prior to interviewing anyone. I don’t know why she even bothered. If you have a complaint feel free to contact her: Megan Deem mdeem@hfmus.com
I talked with her and i feel completely lured by her, for net saying deceived. It was completely other tone of voice talking with her. She must live after the latin quote: “mundus vult decipi, ergo decipiatur” (“The world wants to be deceived, so let it be deceived.”)
I ran into Jessica at Fetishcon, and she told me this article is out. I am not going to buy the magazine. I will read it at the book store and put it back. I am very shocked to here this. Megan was very sweet to me. Even gave me directions after the interview for one of my bookings. But it’s the media, and fashion magazines dictate to the mind less masses.
I know when I interviewed for them, I tried to be careful with what I said. Knowing that media has a way of twisting words. I was even careful with my interview with RTL.
I had a chance to read this article today and to put it mildly it was a crock of complete and total shit. I should have known. My interview with Megan was pretty short and I figured it was because I had absolutely nothing negative to say about the site. Funny how that wasn’t in there. I enjoyed being referred to as “Brittany”…yes, thats my real name, but I just didn’t feel the need to have my last name in there. That’s my right, right? Also, she said she was tape recording the interview, however she totally misquoted me on something as little as what cup size I plan on going to. So come on if she can’t get that right then what did she get right? I’m just glad I stood in the store and read it instead of buying it. What a waste of time. I’ll be sure to email her.
even bad publicity can work for the sight.. i see some new ladies have signed up just because of the article…
so I think that Jason and Jay can turn this into something good!!
